Its still cold but the snow is melting ... and we could not be any happier...because when the snow melts it makes... MUD!

Do You Remember?

Do you remember where you were three years ago today? What you were doing? What you felt like? Most of the time, I can hardly remember what I had to eat for lunch yesterday or what the weather was like last week...but three years ago today...now that is a day I will never forget. It was the day that our Bjorn had open heart surgery. I can remember that sinking filling in my stomach waiting for updates from the nurses and I remember seeing him hooked up to all those tubes and wires. I remember passing all the other rooms in the Cardiac ICU and feeling like I must be dreaming like it couldn't be my baby that was in this place.

Now here we are three years later and it is a stormy Sunday, nothing special going on, but I can't complain, because we have come so far and we are so blessed and today I get to look at this...
